Since humans will only be burdens on the system as they are unnecessary, the eventual outcome of the common man is a scary prospect, unless the elite is agreeable to be some sort of a charity and not be overcome by greed. If not, the human race will diminish, since the vast majority will be no longer useful or important.

Thirdly, intelligent technology today possesses the ability to self-replicate. Inevitably, this greatly increases its potency, including its ability to cause destruction. This self-replication allows artificial intelligence, as well as its repercussions, to manifest more rampantly. For instance, a computer viral attack can be easily spread to many other computers through the internet – it would only take seconds to spread from a computer in Singapore to a computer in London. Similarly, a colony of genetically-engineered bacteria only takes minutes to double its number. When such negative effect occur as a result of these inventions, they become widespread easily because of their ability to self-replicate.
